Report summary
TTF enters the coal-to-gas switching range while net imports to Europe fall as Ukraine's gas operator declares force majeure at Sohranovka TTF’s June contract settled at $30 on Wednesday, down from $31.8 last week. TTF’s premium strengthened against Northeast Asia as the more profitable destination for U.S. cargoes for the remainder of the curve in 2022. Intraday prices on Thursday are up as high as 14%, as Gazprom appears reluctant to redirect flows via other routes amid a force majeure at Sohranovka.
