Cooling temperatures cause bigger storage withdrawals in Europe and prices rebound TTF’s front-month contract was trading at $35 intraday on Thursday, about a $2 increase week-over-week, as colder temperatures finally provided the big boosts to demand and storage withdrawals that the bulls were waiting for. As notable as this potential trend-change is, demand remains significantly below normal for this time of year. Amounting to 1.576 bcm/d, this is a 275 mcm/d decrease from the 5-year average of 1.872 and 126 mcm/d below this week last year.
