Commodity Market Report
Global gas & LNG weekly summary: 25 May 2023
Report summary
With supply glut weighing on TTF prices, NE Asia takes the premium to TTF this summer This week saw a sharp decline in TTF prices, with June dropping below $9 for the first time since 2021. NE Asia also dropped slightly, but TTF’s decline outpaced NE Asia’s, making the summer premium switch to NE Asia. Henry Hub remains relatively flat week-over-week, and the rally we saw from last week’s surprise storage report was short-lived, selling off on Monday this week.
