Commodity Market Report
Global gas & LNG weekly summary: 27 Apr 2023
Report summary
Contango in TTF and NE Asia prices has deepened week-over-week. TTF is holding on to the premium over NE Asia through the end of the year although August is getting close to switching. The Henry Hub May contract expired at $2.1 while June sits at $2.4 and the rest of the curve remains relatively unchanged since last week. The US storage injection of +79 this week points to a tightening market while Europe's slow rate of injection has inventory back in the 5-year range.
