Report summary
December TTF prices in Europe traded at around $14.4/mmbtu, after touching almost $15/mmbtu late last week. Cold temperatures across Europe and the UK have increased heating demand, tightening the balance week on week, with total gas demand up 14% compared to the same week last year. The UK’s Rough storage facility will undergo scheduled maintenance on 28 November, affecting its withdrawal and injection capacity. UK storage levels are currently at 73%, down from 79% at the same time last year. European storage levels sit at 87%.
