Commodity Market Report
Global gas & LNG weekly summary: 29 April 2022
Report summary
TTF premium over Northeast Asia strengthens, CtG range falls, as Russia cuts flows to Poland and Bulgaria TTF was up about $3 week-over-week, settling at $32.7 on Wednesday after a week of volatile trading that saw TTF hit a high of $36 briefly. Poland and Bulgaria’s refusal to take Russian gas resulted in lower piped imports that trumped other bearish fundamentals such as a large storage injection, decrease in demand, high LNG send-out, and a 15% drop in coal prices.
