Report summary
NE Asia contango steepens while TTF’s softens, smaller-than-expected US injection reported Per 28 June settles, TTF summer months decreased to below the $11 mark since last week while NE Asia summer months also decreased slightly, hovering just above $11. The most notable move was a steepening in contango for NE Asia, with the winter months through the end of the year increasing by ~5%. TTF’s contango, on the other hand, softened with winter months declining by ~4%. Henry Hub’s July contract settled relatively flat at $2.6 on 28 June while the August contract traded flat at $2.7.
