Commodity Market Report
Global gas & LNG weekly summary: 8 April 2022
Report summary
TTF keeps premium amid spike in European demand and pipeline imports threat TTF dropped this week and settled at about $34.6 on Wednesday, as fundamentals seem to be taking over after last week’s volatility spurred by the conversation surrounding gas payments in rubles and the potential ramifications on Russian supply to Europe. Even with the price drop a significant risk premium remains baked into prices right now, and this will likely be the case until concerns over Russian pipe supply come to an end.
