Report summary
India's long-term gas demand is set to grow at 3% annual growth rate led by industrial expansion. Domestic output peaked at 36 bcm in 2024 and will decline after 2030, leaving LNG to bridge the gap. LNG's share of gas consumption will rise from 51% in 2025 to over 70% by 2035. LNG demand is projected at 52 bcm by 2030 and will surpass 100 bcm levels by 2044, expanding at 5% CAGR.
