The conflict in the Middle East supported European TTF prices in October. Concerns eased slightly as Israel’s retaliation strikes didn't target energy infrastructure in Iran, triggering a small correction for gas and Brent prices. European LNG imports have started to recover in October, with a softer pull from Asian LNG players. As Asia transitions to winter, most companies in the region have completed their LNG procurement for November and December. Ample gas supplies in China and comfortable contracted LNG volumes for Japan and South Korea help maintain a balanced inventory position in the region.
