The 8th annual Japanese LNG Producer Consumer Conference took place in Tokyo on 26th September 2019. In this insight, we assess three key themes from the conference. These are the sustainability of LNG, demand creation in emerging markets and the continued evolution of contract terms. These reflect current Japanese energy policy and LNG procurement priorities or concerns, and have the potential to impact the global LNG market.
