Q3 North America LNG projects update: momentum builds at Venture Global’s Plaquemines LNG

Venture Global’s second Gulf Coast LNG development, at Plaquemines, Louisiana, is gaining momentum. It is moving ahead with initial site preparation and test piling, and its plan is to ramp up activities on module engineering and fabrication under Limited Notice to Proceed later this year. More sales are needed to finance the 10 mmtpa Phase 1 development, but to secure offtake in a competitive market, momentum is key.
