Report summary
On 30 June 2016, Qatargas announced a 20 year SPA with Global Energy Infrastructure Limited (GEIL) beginning in 2018. The contract is for 1.3 mmtpa that will be supplied from Qatargas 2 and delivered to Pakistan. The contract also has a buyer option to increase volumes to 2.3 mmtpa. In total, Qatargas now has two contracts into Pakistan amounting to 5.1 mmtpa.
