On 22 September 2014, Veresen announced the acquisition of Global Infrastructure Parnters 50% stake in the Ruby pipeline for US$1.43 billion. Ruby is a 680 mile, 1.5 bcfd pipeline linking US Rockies supply from the Opal hub in Wyoming to the Main hub in Oregon. Veresen is the developer of Jordan Cove LNG, a 6 mmtpa greenfield liquefaction facility proposed at Coos Bay, Oregon.  The facility is to be supplied with gas from Malin, some of it sourced via the Ruby pipeline.
