Wood Mackenzie forecasts annual Industrial Production (IP) indices to the year 2060 for 68 key economies. Forecasts are updated on a quarterly basis. This report contains a download of our complete Global Industrial Production dataset. IP is a measure of output of the industrial sector of an economy. Wood Mackenzie analyses the impact of energy and other commodity prices on the competitive and comparative advantage of an economy's industry. Our forecasting methodology for IP is based on analysing trends in industry as a share of GDP.
