A bottom-up approach to China's copper demand
This report is currently unavailable
Report summary
In the recently published Global copper long-term outlook (LTO) Q1 2016, we presented our China end-use copper demand analysis with a sector breakdown. Copper demand consists of five key end-use sectors: the electrical network sector, the construction sector, the appliance sector, the machinery sector and the transport sector. The numbers for end-use copper demand by sector are the output of our new China copper demand model. The model is updated every quarter, and the outcomes will be published in our LTO. This insight explains our methodology and also outlines the scope of each end-use sector, and the assumptions and policy measures that have been quantified and factored into our model.
