Report summary
Ad Duwayhi is an open pit gold mine operated by Saudi Arabian Mining Company (Ma'aden), about 440 km south-west of Riyadh. It uses conventional blast-load-haul mining and a carbon-in-leach (CIL) plant with on-site smelting to produce doré. Ore throughput is around 2 Mt/a.
