Report summary
The accompanying profile covers the Alumbrera production prior to the integration of Agua Rica and Alumbrera mine announced in March 2019. The operation is located in northwest of Catamarca province in Argentina at 2,600 masl. The operation is comprised of an open pit, and a on-site 120kt/d ore mill connected by a 317km pipeline to a filter plant located in Cruz del Norte, Tucuman. The plant produces copper and molybdenum concentrates and dore. Open pit mining was completed in July 2018.
