Andy Well (Closed) gold mine
Report summary
Andy Well gold mine is located approximately 45 kilometres north of Meekatharra, in Murchison region of Western Australia. The mine started production in 2013, mining narrow, quartz lode gold deposits with average grades of 9g/t Au. Production commenced in August 2013 after completion of the small open pit and commissioning of the processing plant, approximately three and half years after the initial discovery of the high-grade Wilber Lode gold deposit. Mining then moved entirely to underground operations.
