Aurora comprises five mineralised zones across a land area of 110,224 acres, located 170km west of the capital city, Georgetown. Mining is by a combination of open pit and underground. The planned plant capacity was increased from 5kt/d to 7.5kt/d in 2019. Commercial production was achieved on 1 January 2016.
