Report summary

Batu Hijau is an open pit primary copper mine on the island of Sumbawa in Indonesia. The mine has been in operations since 1999 and produces a copper concentrate containing gold and silver. Copper concentrate is slurry pumped 17km to Benete Port for drying before it is loaded for shipment.
