Barrick Gold acquired the Bousquet No 1 and No 2 mines when it took over Lac Minerals in 1994. Barrick consolidated the management of the mines into one operating unit, the Bousquet Complex. Accordingly, in the analysis here the No 1 and No 2 mines are analysed as two separate operations up to 1993. From 1994 onwards the analysis relates to the consolidated Bousquet Complex.
