Candelaria gold mine
Report summary
Candelaria comprises a conventional 75kt/d concentrator which processes ore from both Candelaria open pit and the Candelaria Norte and Sur underground mines. The concentrator also processes stockpiled ore and underground ore from the adjacent Ojos del Salado operation. The mine is located in an area where agriculture competes for scarce water supplies and great emphasis is placed on water conservation and recycling.
