Report summary
The refinery is located at Carrollton, 75km west of Atlanta, Georgia, and has excellent road and rail links. Anodes are provided by the adjacent Carrollton secondary copper smelter. The tankhouse and smelter were commissioned in 1972 with a capacity of 65kt/a cathode to provide a source of high quality copper to existing rod and wire plants.
