Operated by Jinchi Enery, the Changsha nickel sulphate, cathode precursor and nickel hydroxide plant is located in Changsha city in Hunan province. The plant is 100% owned by Changyuan Lico, which is predominantly controlled by state-owned China Minmetals. In 2021, the plant was estimated to have produced 3.1kt nickel sulphate (in con.Ni), using imported MHP feedstock.
