Report summary
The Cowal Gold Operations (CGO) is a combined open pit and underground gold mine on the western side of Lake Cowal in central New South Wales, Australia, approximately 38 km north of West Wyalong and 350 km west of Sydney, within the Bland Creek Valley. Evolution Mining holds 100% of the operation, having acquired it from Barrick Gold Corporation in 2015. Mining commenced in 2005 and processing in 2006.
