Darlot is located ~900km northeast of Perth in the Leonora-Leinster mineral province of Western Australia. In October 2017, Red 5 Limited acquired Darlot gold mine from Gold Fields for a total consideration of A$18.5 million, comprising of A$12.0 million in cash and 130 million Red 5 Shares.

- In July 2022, Darlot transitioned from a central processing facility to become a satellite underground mine to King of the Hills, which is ~100 kms by road from Darlot. This profile will no longer be updated as ore from the Darlot mine will be processed at the King of the Hills processing plant.
