Didipio copper mine
Report summary
Didipio is a copper-gold mine located 270km north east of Manilla in the Philippines operated by Oceana Gold. Commissioning of the mine began at the end of 2012 and commercial production was officially declared as of 1 April 2013. The operation was suspended for nearly two years in June 2019. The mine and processing operations resumed in November 2021 after obtaining the required renewal. The current processing capacity is 3.5Mt/a with mill feed coming from currently operational underground mine supplemented by low grade stockpile ore from, now completed, an open pit mine.
