Don Nicolas gold mine
Report summary
The Don Nicolas gold-silver operation comprises two mineralised zones, La Paloma and Martinetas, located 40km apart in the Santa Cruz Province, 100km west of Puerto Deseado and 2000km south of Buenos Aires, southern Argentina. Production commenced in mid-2018. Gold and silver mineralisation is typically hosted in low-sulphidation, epithermal deposits. The ore is processed in a central 1,000tpd carbon-in-leach (CIL) gold recovery plant.
