Report summary
Eastern Dragon gold mine is located 45km southeast of the town of Xunke, which is adjacent to the Heilongjiang River which forms the border with Russia. Gold ore is mined initially via open pit method and subsequently via underground mining underneath the open pit. Trial production commenced in September 2017, and initial full production capacity of 450t/d was reached by December 2017. In 2019, refurbishment of the processing plant was underway to facilitate the production of 99.99% gold bar and silver bar products as opposed to a gold-silver dore.
