Dukat is one of the largest silver producing mining hubs in the world. Historically, a combination of underground and open pit mining has been carried out. Since 2015 however, mining has predominantly been carried out using underground mining methods. Current ore reserves include sources from Dukat, Lunnoye, Goltsovoye, Arylakh, Perevalnoye and Primorskoye. Ore is processed through the 2.0Mtpa Omsukchan flotation and gravity processing plant and the 450Ktpa Lunnoye leaching and Merrill-Crowe plants. Through the history of the operation, capacity has ramped up from 1,050Ktpa (for both plants) to the present capacity of 2,450Ktpa.
