Eagle's Nest nickel project

Eagle's Nest is a nickel, copper and platinum group element (PGE) project in Northern Ontario's Ring of Fire region. Andrew Forrest's Wyloo acquired the project in April 2022. Eagle's Nest boasts an initial 12-year mine life, extendable to 17 years, with projected concentrate production of 150-250 kt/a. The remote nature of the deposit and the need for access roads pose the main risk to the project's development. Wood Mackenzie’s asset reports are built from the bottom up, incorporating a number of granular data metrics to ultimately produce our industry standard cash operating costs. This report contains a detailed asset note giving you a holistic view of the asset, including an operational overview through to a timeline of events from inception to now. This qualitative analysis is supplemented by the associated Excel download which enables interrogation of a whole series of cost and production metrics over the life of the asset.
