Report summary
Empire State Mines is located upstate New York, approximately 38 miles to the Port of Ogdensburgh. Operations ceased in August 2008 and the mine and mill were put on care and maintenance. The mine and its facilities were maintained to good standards during this period of care and maintenance. As a result, the Empire State Mines' No. 4 mine and mill were commissioned by the end of January, 2018 with minimal work. Empire State Mines exploits a Sedimentary Exhalative (SEDEX) deposit through underground methods and a 5ktpd concentrator. The concentrator only produces zinc concentrate.
