Report summary
The refinery is located at Denizli, 360km south of Istanbul and has good road and rail links. The company was formed in 1981 to produce copper rod using Properzi technology. In 1985 an anode casting plant to process blister and scrap, an electrolytic refinery using the PCR process and wire drawing facilities were installed. Although the nominal capacity of the refinery is said to be 40kt/a cathode, only sufficient cells for a capacity of 20kt/a are in operation. The plant obtained ISO 9002...
