Asset Report
Ergo - Daggafontein Tailing Treatment Plant (to 1996) (Closed) gold mine
Report summary
From mid-1996 onwards AAC has reported results for ERGO on a company total basis only, i.e. without showing separate results for the Daggafontein and ERGO plants. Consequently, from 1996 onwards, Daggafontein is included in the analysis for ERGO. Operations at Daggafontein are expected to cease in 2000. The ERGO plant will continue operating to 2004. Wood Mackenzie’s asset reports are built from the bottom up, incorporating a number of granular data metrics to ultimately produce our industry standard cash operating costs. This report contains a detailed asset note giving you a holistic view of the asset, including an operational overview through to a timeline of events from inception to now. This qualitative analysis is supplemented by the associated Excel download which enables interrogation of a whole series of cost and production metrics over the life of the asset.
