Exploiting refractory ore deposits: The next big thing?
This report is currently unavailable
Report summary
Incentivised by a strong gold price between 2003 and 2011, a large number of refractory ore deposits were developed and commissioned and these are expected to produce an average of 116t/a of gold between 2014 and 2025. With a number of new projects in the pipeline to be developed over the next decade, this insight looks at what contribution refractory mines can make to future global gold output and potential impact on the industry cost structure.
