Report summary
Activity in the graphite market began to pick up again in November. End users stocked up on material following the announcement of licenses for Chinese exports of graphite and its products, while imports of graphite concentrate into China jumped as mid-stream processors rushed to advance orders ahead of the December deadline. The renewed trading conditions incentivised the largest move upwards in ex-China graphite prices since January 2022.
