Glogow II copper smelter
Report summary
The Glogow II smelter was commissioned as a state enterprise in 1978 with a capacity of 180kt/a copper, including 150kt/a ex concentrates and mainly from the company's Polkowice and Rudna mines. By 2001 the capacity had been increased to in excess of 200kt/a due to process optimisation and de-bottlenecking.
