Greens Creek gold mine
Report summary
Greens Creek, located on Admiralty Island in Southeast Alaska, is an underground polymetallic mine. The mill has a processing capacity of 2.3kt/d mill and produces lead, zinc and bulk concentrates as well as gold doré. Ore is passed through a gravity circuit, prior to sequential flotation, to recover the free gold. Most of the recovered silver reports to the lead concentrate, with the zinc concentrate having a comparatively low precious metal content.
