The Halilaga project is a low grade greenfield copper gold porphyry deposit. The accompanying analysis is based on an updated Preliminary Economic Assessment study whose results were published in Q1 2015. The study envisages a 14 year operation with an average mill throughput rate of 25kt/a. Mining will be by conventional open pit methods with an assumed life of mine stripping ratio of 1.3:1. The ore will be treated in a typical differential flotation plant producing a gold copper concentrate.Payable copper and gold production over the 14 year mine life is expected to be 780Mlb Cu and 925koz of Au.
