Henty gold mine
Report summary
Henty is an underground gold mine located at Western Tasmania, Australia. The operation is owned by Diversified Minerals Pty Ltd following its purchase of Unity Mining Pty Ltd in June 2016. Annual production was around 45koz at the time. Due to exhaustion of reserves remaining, the operation was placed on care and maintenance in November 2015. Diversified began recruiting a workforce and publicly stated that it intends to have the mine back in production by the end of 2016.
