Report summary

Hibbing is a surface mine located in Minnesota's Mesabi Iron Range, approximately 16 kilometres north of the city of Hibbing. ArcelorMittal owns 62% of Hibbing, with Cliffs holding 23% and US Steel controlling the remaining 15% of the operation.  Each partner assumes its pro rata share of production, though additional or reduced tonnage can be delivered under certain circumstances. Output from Hibbing is a 65% Fe pellet product comparable in quality to other Mesabi Range operations.
