Jiama is a large polymetallic deposit located on Tibet Plateau at an altitude ranging from 4350 to 5410 metres. It is located about 68 km east of Lhasa, the capital city of Tiber Autonomous Region.The polymetallic deposit contains copper, molybdenum, gold, silver, lead and zinc. Phase II expansion was completed in mid-2018, which expanded total capacity from 6kt/d to 50kt/d. Milling operation will reach 16.5Mt/a ore milled once the operation ramps up to full capacity.
