Jiangmen, Fangyuan - Nickel sulphate refinery

Operated by Jiangmen Fangyuan New Energy, the Jiangmen plant is located in Guangdong province, China. The plant produces nickel sulphate from a variety of feedstocks, the majority of which is mixed hydroxide precipitate (MHP). The plant also uses crude nickel sulphate, nickel powder, and scrap to produce nickel sulphate and nickel hydroxide. The plant is estimated to have a production output of 15.2kt of contained Ni in nickel sulphate in 2021.
