Kirazli gold mine project
Report summary
Kirazli is one of two projects owned by Alamos Gold in Turkey. The other one being Agi Dagi. A feasibility study on Kirazli was completed in 2017 and this was based on a five-year operation producing an annual average of 104koz of gold. On 14 October 2019, all construction activities were suspended. pending the renewal of the mining concessions. In October 2020, the Turkish government refused the renewal of the Company’s Forestry Permit. Wood Mackenzie’s asset reports are built from the bottom up, incorporating a number of granular data metrics to ultimately produce our industry standard cash operating costs. This report contains a detailed asset note giving you a holistic view of the asset, including an operational overview through to a timeline of events from inception to now. This qualitative analysis is supplemented by the associated Excel download which enables interrogation of a whole series of cost and production metrics over the life of the asset.
