Report summary
The McPhillamys deposit, owned by Regis Resources, is located approximately 250km west of Sydney, close to the township of Blayney within the New South Wales Central Tablelands. It is proposed to be mined using conventional load and haul open pit mining performed by a mining contractor. As per the DFS released by Regis in 2024, the project has a mineral inventory of 61Mt at 1.0g/t. The processing plant has a nameplate capacity of 7Mtpa and will treat the ore over 9.4 years, recovering 1.71Moz of gold with a gold recovery of ~87.0%.
