Metates gold mine project
Report summary
The project includes two different sites connected by a road and a 127km pipeline. The Metates mine site includes an open pit, crushing and milling facilities and flotation and thickener plant. The El Paso site includes a limestone quarry, autoclave facility, leaching facility, Merrill-Crowe plant, acid neutralisation tank, SX/EW plant. The estimated mine life is 17 years excluding pre-stripping but the plan is to operate for an additional 10 years by treating stockpile ores. The Metates Plant will produce a sulphide bulk concentrate, then transported to El Paso Plant to produce zinc ingot, silver and gold dore.
