Operations first began in 1990 with spodumene concentrate production capacity later expanded from 20ktpy to 30ktpy in 2016. The operation produces chemical grade spodumene concentrates with a minimum grade of 5.0% Li2O and a typical grade of 5.3% Li2O. Wood Mackenzie’s asset reports are built from the bottom up, incorporating several granular data metrics to ultimately produce our industry-standard cash operating costs. This report contains a detailed asset note giving you a holistic view of the asset, including an operational overview through to a timeline of events from inception to now.
