Report summary
New Afton is an underground copper-gold mine located near Kamloops, British Columbia, Canada. The mine produces copper concentrate containing gold and silver as by-products. The processing plant is ramping up to a target capacity of 16,000 tonnes per day as the C-Zone block cave reaches full production (C-Zone achieved commercial production in Q4 2024). The current mine life extends to 2032 based on proven and probable reserves. Coeur acquired New Afton in March 2026 through its acquisition of New Gold Inc.
