Olympic Dam gold mine

The accompanying analysis considers the production of copper concentrate, copper cathode, uranium oxide and by-product gold and silver from the Olympic Dam underground mine, process plant and integrated smelter and refinery. The operation is unusual in the copper industry in that significant revenue is derived from the processing and sale of uranium oxide (yellowcake).
